Description
- 3-axis acceleration sensor – The digital accelerometer ADXL345 from Analogue Devices offers a comprehensive range of functions and is still easy to control with the help of a microcontroller.
- Precise measurements – The sensor IC is internally equipped with a 13-bit A/D converter (ADC) to accurately digitise the position and tilt and both slow and fast movements.
- Adjustable measuring range: to get the ideal control for your application, the measuring range of the accelerometer can be adjusted to the following ranges: 2, 4, 8, 16 g.
- Easy control – the readings of the sensor can be requested via the I2C bus or the SPI interface. The module is therefore ideal for applications with Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
- Numerous functions – the chipset offers the detection of activity/inactivity, setting threshold values for interrupt outputs, tap and double-tap detection, case detection and various power saving modes.

The ADXL345 sensor module can be optimally controlled e.g. with your Arduino via I2C bus. Use the Arduino IDE built-in wire library to access the sensor registers.
